Michael has been in the painting and restoration industry for over 15 years. He plays a key role in driving business growth and managing Nova’s operations. With a background in estimating, sales, and project management, he brings practical experience to every aspect of the company. Under his direction, Nova has grown into a trusted company known for reliability, workmanship, and attention to detail. Today, he continues to guide the team with a focus on excellence and long-term client relationships.
Madis Salem
Managing Partner, Co-Founder
Madis brings over 20 years of experience in the coatings industry, with a background that spans hands-on application, project management, and leadership. This well-rounded experience gives him an understanding of what it takes to deliver consistent, high-quality results and ensures projects are well-planned and executed efficiently. His steady, consistent leadership has helped drive Nova’s growth and establish its reputation as an industry leader, built on reliability, strong relationships, and a commitment to quality.

Mike Limin
Director of Operations
Mike has been a driving force in the coatings industry since 2012. He built his foundation in specialized paint distribution, advancing from a management internship into high-stakes outside sales. After successfully managing large-scale residential projects as a lead estimator and project manager, he joined Nova as Director of Operations. Today, he oversees the daily operations for our teams, ensuring every project benefits from over a decade of technical mastery and operational excellence.
Michael MeInychenko
Director of Sales and Partnerships
Michael leads sales, partnerships, and business development at Nova, with a focus on driving revenue growth and building long-term client relationships. He previously co-founded a marketing and consulting firm, where he helped businesses refine their positioning and go-to-market strategy. At Nova, he works closely with clients and partners to deliver high-quality, large-scale projects. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and three young kids and staying active outdoors.
Shawn Sivan
Senior Project Manager
With more than two decades in the paint industry, Shawn carries on a family legacy of painters in British Columbia that began in the 1960’s. His work reflects a strong foundation of experience, care and pride in the craft. When he’s not on the job, Shawn and his two sons can be found foraging, cooking and exploring the outdoors, embracing everything the West Coast has to offer.
Alex Randall
Lead Estimator
With years of industry expertise added to every project, Alex has acquired a reputation for precision through his detailed project quoting. He prides himself on providing top-tier guidance that helps homeowners make informed decisions for their spaces. Ensuring clients have total clarity before the first drop of paint is applied. Outside of work, Alex stays busy adventuring outside with his family or leveling up in his favorite video games.
Adonis Sulit
Project Manager/Estimator
With over 15 years of dedicated experience in the restoration industry, Adonis serves as a Project Manager with a primary focus on strata properties. Adonis began his career as a skilled drywaller and painter by trade, a foundation that provides him with an invaluable technical lens when managing complex projects. This transition from hands-on craftsmanship to strategic project management allows him to bridge the gap between technical site execution and high-level stakeholder requirements. Beyond his professional life, Adonis is a dedicated family man who enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors, a balance that fuels the steady, reliable approach he maintains in his career endeavors.
Marcia Desepeda
Accountant
Marcia is the financial anchor of the Nova team, managing our bookkeeping, payroll, and all accounts with meticulous precision. Known for her "by the book" approach and unwavering punctuality, she ensures our business operations run with total transparency and reliability. Marcia’s professional, mild-mannered presence and disciplined work ethic provide the steady foundation our company relies on, allowing our field teams to focus on delivering the high-quality restoration work our clients expect.
